Intralesional Steroid Injections, or Intralesional Triamcinolone is a treatment used in dermatology. The goal of these injections is to reduce the inflammation within the skin, as well as improving the appearance.

Intralesional injections are used to treat patchy hair loss. In some cases, results can be seen after two sessions. For better results, we would advise four sessions spaced at two to three weeks intervals.

In majority of the cases, grey hair is likely to appear in the treatment area but eventually they will change to black hair.

Keloid is a special type of scar which grows too much and can even become larger than the original wound. Intralesional injections are used to treat keloid. You will need to go through multiple treatment sessions to see any visible effects. The treatment should remove uneven lesions on keloid and itching sensation on the affected areas. However, it is very unusual for a keloid itself to be cured after the treatment.
